"[They're] not intelligent and dedicated, but good/great fan qualities," he joked. "Qualities you want in friends."

Well, it's easy to see how this adorkable man won America over to snag Favorite TV Drama Actor and the Favorite TV Crime Drama trophy for his turn as the lovable mystery novelist turned crime fighter.
