Eric Wheelwright Banned From Date Site

Eric Wheelwright, noted TV and music producer, was recently banned from a dating website. Friends say that because Wheelwright has become swamped with a number of upcoming video projects and is now back in the recording studio working on his new CD “The Journey Continues”, which is scheduled to be released sometime this fall, he has had very little time for a social life. Wheelwright figured he would forgo the club scene and delve into the online dating experience to test the waters. He figured meeting someone via an online dating site would be a much lesser strain on his already hectic schedule. When he created his personal page he choose to use an alias so as to not be easily recognized by those viewing his profile, unfortunately, the site administrators recognized the pictures that were being posted to the profile and figured the person that had created the profile was an imposter using copyrighted images of a celebrity in hopes of praying on some innocent bystander. A few days after creating his profile, Wheelwright went to log into his account only to discover that it had been deleted. When he contacted the site administrator asking why his profile had been deleted he was told that they do not allow postings of any celebrity images on their site and that he had violated their rules and regulations.

[Read full story on The Insider]

Eric Wheelwrights New I Dream of Genii Sitcom.

Eric Wheelwright was caught scouting a location for an upcoming project. Sources say that he is preparing to shoot a pilot for a modern day “I Dream of Jeannie” which he plans to pitch to BET for the networks summer television line up. Though the idea of the show was derived from the 1960’s hit show “I Dream Of Jeannie”, staring Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman, sources say that Eric Wheelwright’s modernized version is all together a different show. For example, instead of the show’s setting being the more relaxed, suburbanized Palm Springs, Florida, where the original show was set, the setting will be a more urbanized Los Angeles, California. And instead of Jeannie’s Master being an astronaut, he will be a young marketing executive, working for an advertising firm in L.A. There will still be the goofy best friend/sidekick and of course a very attractive genie. At the present time, Wheelwright has not started casting for the sitcom, however, I was told that he will not shoot the pilot unless he can find the perfect girl to play the genie whose name will be spelled “Genii”.

[Read full story on The Insider]

Eric Wheelwright's Video Nominated for 2008 Stellar Award

(Shown in picture from left to right: Stellar Nominee Antwaun Stanley and Stellar Nominee Eric Wheelwright at the 2008 Stellar Music Awards) Eric Wheelwright (shown in right of picture), CEO of Wrightway Enterprises and Legacy Productions has made his mark on the entertainment industry in more ways than you can count. He’s done everything from writing, acting, directing and producing TV shows, commercials and plays. He’s also produced and written a number of musical pieces for movies, shows and theatrical performances. His most recognized piece as of far is his song “Journey, the Story of Life”. It appears that what every this young entrepreneur touches turns to gold. Just recently Eric partnered with the talented Mrs. Keisha N. Allen, CEO of Charismatic U, to produce and direct a music video for an upcoming artist by the name of Antwaun Stanley. The two were contacted by the head of BAJADA records, the label that Antwaun was signed to and asked if they would produce a video for the song “Teach Me”, the hit single from Antwaun’s debut CD, which was also written by Allen. Because Antwaun was scheduled to begin touring the following week Monday, Wheelwright and Allen had less than a few days to proof and submit the video treatment for approval, put together the production team and secure the locations for the shoot. They also had only one day to shoot the entire video. “The house scenes alone were an all day shoot”, says Greg Quals, videographer and good friend of Eric Wheelwright. “By the time we finished shooting the house scenes it was 11 o’clock at night and we still had two more locations to shoot.” They began shooting the video at 9 o’clock, Saturday morning and didn’t complete the shoot until 6 o’clock Sunday morning. Wheelwright and Allen had done in less than a day what would normally require 3 days to do and while the project was extremely rushed they managed to walk away with a 2008 Stellar Award nomination for Best Music Video of the Year. Congratulations Eric Wheelwright and Keisha N. Allen on your nomination. You truly deserve it!

[Read full story on The Insider]
