The new mom made sure to keep Knight safely tucked away in his posh Bugaboo stroller. We want to see Knight, Kelis! *Could actress Tichina Arnold be pregnant with her second child? It is quite possible since Ms. Tichina recently had this to say on her blog at Essence: “I apologize to all of you loyal Essence [readers] out there…but I’m BUSY! Things are just not the same since my pregnancy. Once I am done here, its off to the music studio for a ALL night recording session…see it never ends.” *Side-eye* Uhmm, Tichina, You got some explaining to do! *On Sunday, August 23rd, President Barack Obama and his family will travel to Martha’s Vineyard, MA. The first family will spend a week on a 28 acre farm land called “The Blue Heron”. The Blue Heron is a 28-acre retreat located in the town of Chilmark, once claimed to be one of the most expensive towns in America. It reportedly costs $35,000 to $50,000 a week to rent any property near the Blue Heron. * Teen actress Keke Palmer recently returned from a four-day cruise aboard a Royal Caribbean International ship. The cruise was one of two cruises sponsored by Nickelodeon and Royal Caribbean International®. Meanwhile, the young starlet is turning 16 on August 26th; she plans on throwing a Sweet 16 Prom. Wow, sounds like fun! * Speaking of pregnancy, could Vanessa Bryant be pregnant with her third child? Kobe’s wife has been wearing rather questionable clothing of late. Tyanna Wallace Honors Her Dad At Her Sweet 16 Bash

T’yanna Wallace was only three years old when her legendary father, Notorious B.I.G ak.a Christopher Wallace, was gunned down. Now a teenager, Ty’anna celebrated her 16th birthday with a party at Taj lounge in NYC last night. In keeping with her party’s theme, the Hip-Hop princess wore a custom-made pink dress with lollipops and candy scattered all across the outfit. “It was a combination of a magical candy land meets rock star,” explained Bronx designer Walter Steele. In addition to lollipops and the likes, Ty’anna wore a button of her late dad emblazoned over her heart. “I needed to have him here with me,” explained Ty’anna Wallace of the button. Breaking News: Arrest Warrant Issued For Bobby Brown

An arrest warrant has been issued for singer Bobby Brown after he failed to appear in court for a child support hearing on August 14, 2009. Brown is reportedly $45,000 behind in child support payments for the two teenage children he had with former girlfriend Kim Ward; he is supposed to pay $5,500/month for his son Bobby Jr.,17, and daughter Laprincia,19. Brown, who is a native of Boston, will be arrested the minute he steps foot in Massachusetts per Judge Christina Harms’ order. According to The Boston Herald, Bobby was scheduled to appear before Judge Harms on June 29 ,but never showed up for the appointment. In June, Brown welcomed his fifth child with his longtime girlfriend Alicia Etheridge. He also has a 16 year-old daughter , Bobbi Kristina, with singer Whitney Houston , and an older son from a previous relationship named Landon Brown.

Sophies Voice To Establish A Clinic In Ghana

-Boris and Nicole during the "R Baby Foundation Walk" Actors Boris Kodjoe and Nicole-Ari Kodjoe recently returned from a week-long trip to West Africa, Ghana, where they met with Health officials about establishing a clinic for Spina Bifida patients on behalf of their foundation, Sophie’s Voice. Sophie’s Voice Foundation ,which is dear to the Kodjoe’s heart, was founded in honor of the couple’s daughter Sophie,4, who was born with spina bifida. “Sophie was born with spina bifida, which is a neural tube defect. It’s something where the spinal cord develops and doesn’t close all the way. So, a lot of kids who suffer from spina bifida have brain damage, motor function issues, they can’t move their legs, and they don’t have any sensations. I thank God that my daughter was spared those more severe effects. She can’t control her bladder [though] … We have to monitor the pressure in her bladder by catheterizing, which can be very [difficult for her] — it’s just not a nice thing for a kid having to grow up being catheterized every three hours,”said Boris in an interview with RollingOut magazine earlier this year. Boris and his wife Nicole hope to spare many more children in Ghana who do not have access to the resources that Sophie does. Currently, Ghana does not provide special health care for newborns with spina bifida, but the Kodjoe’s hope to change that: “Working together with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), SVF will help initiate a surveillance project to determine the current population living with spina bifida and the country’s mortality rate of babies born with spina bifida. Once a clinic model is designed to accommodate the Ghana healthcare system, SVF will take a delegation of physicians, nurses and healthcare providers from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and other U.S. institutions to Ghana, where they will be teamed with Ghanaian physicians and nurses to provide training and hands-on patient care.
