I'm from the midwest (right outside chicago), but i've been in california for four years now. Although I'd never have believed it was possible, california is starting to feel like home. I am a grad student in information studies department at UCLA, studying to be an archivist. Although I'm completely sick of school, i feel lucky cause I know I've found my calling with archives - and yes, I realize that makes me pretty damn dorky. Alas, I hope I have enough knowledge of pop culture to keep me from being a complete loser. I'm kind of a celebrity gossip junkie (long time subscriber to entertainment weekly). I've recently also started to follow politics. Yes, I'm a liberal queer - and proud of it! I am the second mommy to the cutest dog ever - Cooper! (as well as three cats: Zealie, Sawyer and Wimbledon)
