Gerbils look like a mouse only they're brown instead of grey. Hampsters are a little bit bigger and have longer fur and not much of a tail. Guinnea pigs are much bigger, have long hair and you tend to see them at the fair.
No, $175 is not a bargain unless you're looking for a prom dress or a wedding-party dress. Perhaps that's a California bargain price but not an Ohio bargain price. A bargain would be $40 max and not look like a bag. And while we're on it, who really thinks jeans are reasonable at $100+? Please! I think $30 is pushing it.
Back in the 70's, I saw Jim Nabors at our local, small airport; he was coming to town to perform at a local dinner theater. We were standing in the lobby waiting for the luggage to come in from the flight. I looked to my left and there was Jim Nabors! All I could think of was "Golly!" in his Gomer drawl. I kept saying to my self keep your mouth shut, keep your mouth shut. As we turned to leave I said "Welcome to Canton" and he said "Thank you."
The new sign does blend in too much. As far as the flowers, how about seasonal? I don't know what's blooming in California right now so you may have to stick with carnations as a fall back but soon there will be daffodils, narcissus, tulips, crocus, hyacinths, forsythia, lilly of the vally, lilacs; there''s always shasta daisies, gerbera daisies and mums. Or the dollar store since real flowers will get pricey and the viewers can't really tell the difference on the small screen anyway; then you could get tropical flowers that won't cost $20 a stem. Good luck! I got Melinda's CD the week it came out. Love it!
