"Republican family values are a joke. While Gov. Palin was busy with her political career, her daughter was busy getting pregnant. Perhaps if Gov. Palin parented her children with better care, her 17 year old would not be preparing to be a parent herself. And...who is taking care of her special needs son while she's busy on the campaign trail? Perhaps Gov Palin needs to spend more time with her children who obviously need her more than our country does. Did McCain vet this woman? I think his choice is rash and desperate. I will not be voting for the McCain/Palin ticket in November."
I find this whole thing disturbing....I mean I questioned McCain's choice of VP when he chose Mrs. Palin but come on now, what is going on....This is how I feel, the media roasted Jamie-Lynn Spears all over the coals because she wasn't being a role model, I feel the same for this situation....I mean how long did they think they could hide this, your in the spotlight now, the media will tear you apart....I think they are hiding more things....I mean really instead of being out there shooting deer or whatever the hell she does, she should have been home wathcing her kids more closely....Instead of preaching abstinence which we all know teenagers don't do anymore, should have been preaching safe sex....How is she suppose to help run this country if she has a daughter who is pregnant out of wedlock, haven't graduated from high school....Oh I guess cause they have money, it'll be easy cause they could get a nanny for her while she finishes high school or college, it isn't so easy for the rest of "American Teenage Mothers"....How can someone compare this with Barack Obama's mother, she was married and it was a different time, way different time when mother's married young, divorce was unheard of, and abortion was hush hush....Barack Obama's mother lifted herself up from the bootstrings by herself and accomplished her goals raising two children in the 60's....Bristol I'm sure will have her family and their money to help her out....I don't feel bad for her, I mean really, she knew exactly what she was doing when she did it....I mean teenagers are not responsible enough to handle such an adult thing, I mean back in the day they were cause a lot teenagers back then came from huge families where they helped taking of of their younger siblings....I mean I really feel Mrs. Palin should step down and let someone else take over....For one, I was really turned off by her on Friday when I found out her new baby has Down Syndrome, which I am not looking down on that, the poor thang, its sad and what she should do is stay home and take care of her son....Anyone who isn't selfish like her, would do the right thing, while she's if she is helping run this country she should be taking care of her home and her little boy who needs her, while she's running the country, whose going to care for him, her nanny, I mean really he needs both his parents....I have a big heart for handicap and special needs children and believe they need their parents, her ambitions now should be on the back burner....I have no respect for her, put your family first....To encourage her daughter to marry at such a young age, that's if the young man wants too, which these days not so likely unless she put a gun to his head too....Marriages like that don't last, being forced into a marriage cause someone is pregnant is not a good idea, it always turns out badly....That isn't a good reason to get married, usually they lead to adultery, resentment, and divorce....But in all seriousness, what is the Repulican's going to do next....I mean really....I'm a diehard Democrat and well sitting back to watch McCain fall flat on his face....She really should step down, maybe I'll have a little respect for him and for her....Republican values suck....and so to those Repulican's that think we Dems aren't giving our names, I'm Nicole in VA and I think I've said enough....
