Charlize Theron Talks Love And Babies

Charlize Theron weighs in with her thoughts on love and motherhood in a new interview with Marie Claire magazine. The Oscar winner says of her longterm relationship with actor Stuart Townsend, “I don’t feel like I’m in survival mode any more. I feel like it’s OK, I can breathe, so I’m very grateful to him.” Charlize, 33, and Stuart have been together for 8 years but though she says she definitely wants kids, motherhood doesn’t seem to be on the immediate horizon for the Monster star. “I’ve always known that I wanted to be a mom. I love children. I’ve always loved children,” she says. “But I’m not like, ‘Oh my god, I really must have kids right now.’ I’ve never felt this pressing urge that some biological clock is ticking. We both want to be parents one day, but I’ve no idea when that will be.” Though she looks forward to motherhood, Charlize has admitted in the past that she’s not too keen on pregnancy: “Getting pregnant doesn’t excite me, but having kids does. Calista, 44, adopted Liam as a newborn in 2001, shortly before she and Harrison began dating. The three live together in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Harrison credits Liam with giving him a different outlook on life. After getting married in 2000, Jon, who was born to the name Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz, and Tracey McShane legally changed both of their surnames to Stewart. The Beckham Brothers Get Playful In Milan

Six-year-old Romeo (white shirt), 4-year-old Cruz (blue and white striped shirt) and 10-year-old Brooklyn Beckham were spotted playing at a park in Milan, Italy on Monday. The boys played football like their famous papa and enjoyed the playground equipment and rides. Central Italy has just been struck with its worst earthquake in nearly three decades, killing at least 90 and leaving tens of thousands homeless. Exhausted Mom-of-four Brooke Burke took to her Baboosh Baby blog recently to vent. The busy - make that very busy - mom writes, “Lately I have been so busy being pulled in a million directions that I am trying to squeeze in my baby moments. Isn’t that the ongoing challenge of motherhood? Not to mention the guilt that goes along with the fact that there are not enough hours in the day for everyone’s needs.” Brooke has daughters Neriah, 9, and Seirra, 7, from a previous marriage and daughter Heaven, 2, and son Shaya, 1, with her fiance David Charvet. She blogs about a typical day in the Burke-Charvet family: “No need for an alarm in the morning, baby is up fussing for milk. Our two year old needs to go potty and my eyes are fighting the sunlight. My back hurts form being sandwiched in between two babies that are not yet sleeping through the night (on my side of the bed btw). I wake up my older kids for school and hurry downstairs to get breakfast ready and make it out the door in time to beat rush hour. Thank God I made lunches last night, and I have a 30 minute drive for the kids to finish eating breakfast. Quick glance at the school calendar to make sure I have not missed anything; I have 5 minutes for myself to throw hair in a ponytail, sweats and flip flops on and grab my shades to hide the restless nights bags under my eyes. Guy Ritchie: Madonna Is A Great Mum

Guy Ritchie is coming to Madonna’s defense following news that her bid to adopt 3-year-old Mercy James from Malawi was rejected. Madonna’s ex issued the following statement in response to the news: “I fully supported Madonna in her decision to apply for this adoption, and I am saddened that her application has been rejected. She is motivated only by being a caring parent who seeks to share some of the advantages and opportunities that her life has given her.” The director added, ”Madonna is a fantastic and loving mother who cares deeply about her own children, and children who may need additional help and support. This time it did not work out, but there will be other opportunities and I wish her well in them. She is a great mum.” Madonna, 50, and Guy, 40, who were married for 8 years before their split in 2008, adopted their son David, 3, from Malawi. Madonna’s latest adoption bid was rejected due to a residency requirement - which was waived for David’s adoption - that states that prospective parents must spend at least 18 months in Malawi.
