TMI, Kelly! And … ill! When Kelly Clarkson says she’ll “talk about anything” she’s not kidding. The first “American Idol” dished a bit too much recently about her health and personal hygiene — including her tendency to use her shower to go tinkle. “Anyone who says they don’t is lying,” she tells Blender magazine. As if that wasn’t more than you want to know, the pop starlet also reveals she inspects the tissue after she’s blown her nose to see what color comes out. “If you have a cold you have to check, to see how sick you are!” Clarkson explained. “I’ll talk about anything!” she says, adding, “I do not lie. Ever. I will tell my girlfriend if she looks fat in her jeans.” The songstress, however, did draw the line at the magazine’s questions about some bodily functions, including a query about the last time she had sex. “I’m not telling you that. Rihanna to hit the big screen with Bodyguard

Rihanna may get a bodygaurd - on the big screen. The battered pop star made an impromptu trip to the Big Apple over the weekend to have some meetings about impending projects: one of which is a proposed remake of 1992’s Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner flick, “The Bodyguard.” Rihanna would be taking on Whitney’s role in the updated version, which an insider says would be a “young and sexy take” on the favorite film. “GI Joe” hottie Channing Tatum’s name has been bandied about to take on Costner’s role. “Before the situation with Chris, Ri was getting a lot of scripts. She’s been wanting to do movies for a while now,” our insider reveals. In addition to a proposed “Bodyguard” remake, Rihanna is also considering working on a “Charlies Angels” sequel, as well as potentially starring alongside Justin Timberlake, with whom she released her hit single “Rehab.” Rihanna’s camp denied the songstress has taken any meetings with any directors, producers or production companies. In addition to talking about her acting career, Ri is working on her new album, which will be released by year’s end. Two new tracks have already been cut - “We Own the Night” and “Pretty Girl Blues.” Unfortunately, Rihanna has no plans to write or produce her own tracks at the moment. Another person who will not be earning writer/producer credits on the forthcoming album in R&B artist Ne-Yo. “Ne-yo’s been talking about Ri and Chris, which has really hurt her feelings. She thought they were cool with each other.” (Reps for both singers denied their talent had an issue with each other.) Ne-Yo has been vocal about his feelings on Rihanna’s relationship with boyfriend Chris Brown, who was arrested for assaulting the pop princess back in February. “I spoke to Rihanna. She says she’s fine. She didn’t go into detail about what happened…I understand it’s a painful situation; I didn’t push,” he told MTV. In the meantime, Rihanna is surrounding herself with other friends who are more careful with what they tell the media. On Friday night, Rihanna joined longtime mentor Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce for a quiet dinner at the Spotted Pig. The following evening, Ri was back in the West Village for a late dinner at Da Silvano. “Rihanna was dining with five friends and a security guard,” an eyewitness tells us. “It was a bit odd - she was wearing sunglasses inside at 11 PM - like that was going to stop people from noticing her!” Our spy hastens to add, “But you know, Rihanna really looked good. Blaine Trumps Accidental Overdose

NEW York society queen Blaine Trump was so despondent when she found out her beloved husband, Robert Trump, was having an affair, she had an “accidental overdose” on pills, several friends confirmed to Page Six. In October 2004, Blaine ended up staying at Mount Sinai for several days after she learned Robert had bought a $3.7 million house on Long Island for his girlfriend, Ann Marie Pallan and, to make matters worse, was leaving her for Pallan. A spy in the hospital at the same time as Blaine said, “She was in the VIP wing - very posh. Every day, Robert would come visit her with flowers and chocolates for not just her but the nurses. He was very cheerful, always smiling and greeting everyone happily. Everyone was just so appalled because we all knew . . . the reasons Blaine was in there. It was just disgusting.” A rep for Blaine said she couldn’t be reached for comment. After she recuperated, Blaine tried to forgive her husband and save the marriage, but he refused to leave Pallan, whom he met while she worked in the Trump family real estate office in Brooklyn, and so Blaine agreed to a divorce. Since then, the gorgeous blonde has tried to keep her head high and settle out of court, but Robert, Donald’s brother, has insisted on taking the case to trial. Last week, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Sarabeth Evans turned down his motion to have the divorce case heard in Dutchess County, where he owns a house. In her ruling, Evans noted that the couple lived “exclusively” in Manhattan during their marriage, and that Robert didn’t deny living since then in Nassau County in a house he bought for Pallan. THE latest Spelling family catfight is playing out in the book world. Publishers of competing titles by Tori (above) and Candy Spelling are in a rat race to get each blonde’s book out ahead of the other’s. According to an insider, St. Martin’s Press, the house behind Candy’s new “Stories from Candyland,” moved her publication date up two weeks, from April 14 to March 31. “They made that decision after getting wind that the publication date for Tori’s book was moved to April 14,” dished the source. MATT Damon’s wife, Luciana, so loved Sarah Silverman’s video proclaiming, “I’m f - - - ing Matt Damon,” that she took it to heart. “Somebody sent [her] a shirt that said, ‘I’m f - - - ing Matt Damon,’ and there was a note with it. ‘You’re actually the only person who can wear this.’ I swear it wasn’t me who sent it,” Damon tells parade.com. “She was pregnant at the time, so it was really funny to watch her wear the shirt . . . Actor Ron Silver dies in NYC at age 62 of cancer

Actor Ron Silver, who won a Tony Award as a take-no-prisoners Hollywood producer in David Mamet’s “Speed-the-Plow” and did a political about-face from loyal Democrat to Republican activist after the Sept. 11 attacks, died Sunday at the age of 62. “Ron Silver died peacefully in his sleep with his family around him early Sunday morning” in New York City, said Robin Bronk, executive director of the Creative Coalition, which Silver helped found. “He had been fighting esophageal cancer for two years.” Silver, an Emmy nominee for a recurring role as a slick strategist for liberal President Jed Bartlet on “The West Wing,” had a long history of balancing acting with left-leaning social and political causes. But after the 2001 terrorist attacks, longtime Democrat Silver turned heads in Hollywood with outspoken support of President George W. Bush over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Silver spoke at the 2004 Republican National Convention, began referring to himself as a “9/11 Republican” and reregistered as an independent. In an interview with The Associated Press a month later, Silver said his support for the war on terror was costing him work in liberal-minded Hollywood. “It’s affected me very badly. I can’t point to a person or a job I’ve lost, but this community is not very pluralistic,” Silver told the AP. “I haven’t worked for 10 months.” His switch to a more conservative image threatened to overshadow an esteemed career on stage, television and film, along with his long history of activism, which included co-founding the nonpartisan Creative Coalition, an advocacy group for entertainers. “He was a talented actor, a scholar and a great believer in participatory democracy,” Bronk said Sunday evening. “He was an activist who became a great artist and his contributions will never be forgotten.” His big-screen credits included “Ali,” “Reversal of Fortune,” “Enemies: A Love Story,” “Silkwood” and “Semi-Tough.” Besides “The West Wing,” Silver was a regular or had recurring roles on such TV shows as “Veronica’s Closet,” “Chicago Hope” and “Wiseguy.” He directed and costarred in the 1993 TV movie “Lifepod,” a science-fiction update of Alfred Hitchcock’s “Lifeboat.” Silver’s Tony for “Speed-the-Plow” came in 1988, a year after he earned his first Emmy nomination, for the murder thriller “Billionaire Boys Club.” Silver still found work despite his conservative shift, appearing in episodes of “Law & Order” and “Crossing Jordan” and such movies as “Find Me Guilty” and the Ten Commandments comedy “The Ten.” He continued his recurring role on “The West Wing,” joking that he faced some taunting over his views from co-workers on the show which took place in a fiercely liberal White House administration. “Often when I walked onto the set of ‘The West Wing’ some of my colleagues would greet me with a chanting of ‘Ron, Ron, the neo-con.’ It was all done in fun but it had an edge,” Silver wrote in a Nov. 15, 2007, entry of his blog on the Pajamas Media Web site. Silver’s on-screen work rankled liberals, too. He narrated 2004’s “Fahrenhype 9/11,” a deconstruction of Michael Moore’s Bush-bashing hit documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11.” “Michael Moore and that faction of the party was one of the factors that did not let me support the Democratic nominee this year,” Silver told the AP in 2004. “He is a charlatan in a clown suit.” Born July 2, 1946, in New York City, he was the son of Irving and May Silver. His father worked in New York’s garment industry and his mother was a teacher. Earning a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a master’s degree in Chinese history from St. John’s University, Silver studied drama at the Herbert Berghof Studio and the Actors Studio. In the 1970s, he gradually moved from theater work in New York City into television and film. His early credits included “The Mac Davis Show,” “Rhoda” and “The Stockard Channing Show.” Silver and ex-wife Lynne Miller had a son, Adam, and daughter, Alexandra. Whichever end of the political spectrum his activism fell, Silver viewed such involvement as something of a duty for entertainers. “I think there’s almost an obligation,” he said in a 1991 interview with the AP. “Many of us are very well compensated for work which a lot of people would love to do. And we also have a lot of leisure time in between jobs. … “They say that Hollywood is sex without substance, and Washington is substance without sex, so maybe the marriage of the two is mutually intriguing.”

Charlie Sheen and Wife Welcome Twin Boys!

Charlie Sheen and his wife, real estate investor Brooke Mueller, welcomed twin boys — Bob and Max — Saturday in Los Angeles. The new arrivals are the couple’s first children together. On March 12, Sheen told Extra he was officially “on standby” for the twins’ impending arrival. “What time is it?…It could be tomorrow, next week. We’re on standby,” he admitted. Prompting their heightened alert was Mueller’s overnight trip to an L.A. hospital last month after experiencing premature contractions, not uncommon in women carrying twins. The couple — who met through Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayhart in 2006 — said they had not yet settled on names. “We’re still sort of circling Bob and Nik…N-I-K,” the actor, 43, told Extra. Sheen and Mueller, 31, announced they were expecting last summer. “Brooke and I are thrilled! She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for,” Sheen told Us at the time, referring to his three daughters, Sam, 5, and Lola, 3 (with ex-wife Denise Richards), and Cassandra, 23 (with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt). Astor Place - Bond No. 9s Mesmerizing New Eau de Parfum

Back in the day, when Downtown was Uptown, nowhere in New York was grander than Astor Place—the enclave stretching between Broadway and Third Avenue, and floating between 14th and Houston Streets. Here, where much of the land was owned by the early 19th century fur-trading philanthropist John Jacob Astor, were situated the city’s greatest theaters, a row of colonnaded Greek Revival townhouses to rival Regent Park’s in London, the hallowed neo-Romanesque Great Hall of Cooper Union, the Renaissance-Revival Astor Library (now the Public Theater), and the neo-Renaissance shopping emporium John Wanamaker. (Eighth Street becomes St. Marks Place … Lafayette Street becomes Fourth Avenue … the Bowery becomes Third Avenue.) Clearly magic is at work here. Astor Place kept a low profile through much of the 20th century. But then in 1967, Tony Rosenthal’s multi-ton gravity-defying geometric black metal sculpture, informally known as “the Cube,” was installed on its vertical axis right in the center of the plaza where Lafayette meets the Bowery. A bit to the south, that spacious promenade, Lafayette Street, is home not only to the acclaimed Public Theatre, where its see-and-be-seen Joe’s Pub now beckons to a stylish late-night crowd, but also to the Astor Place Theater. Ensconced in Colonnade Row, it was there that Sam Shepard’s plays were once performed, while Blue Man Group has held the subterranean stage since 1991. Berthed in the ground-level spaces, meanwhile, are a series of ultra-elegant mid-century home furnishings shops. With Astor Place back on its game, we at Bond No. 9 decided it was time for a namesake eau de parfum. Last week West Virginia state lawmaker Jeff Eldridge proposed a bill to legally ban Barbie (and other dolls that promote beauty) from the sales shelves across the state as he believes the busty blonde sends young children the damaging message that looks are everything. Well, the controversial Kardashian sisters had quite a message for him in return when we caught up with them at Barbie’s 50th Birthday Party in her Malibu Dream House on Monday. “He can suck an egg, seriously. He’s probably butt-ugly and always wanted a girlfriend that looked like Barbie but could never get one. People like that really annoy me,” Khloe Kardashian said, with her sis Kourtney adding that it was “so ridiculous.” “She’s been around 50 years and girls love her. Its fun, it’s a doll — get over it people,” Kourtney added. Even self-proclaimed feminist, He’s Just Not That Into You starlet Ginnifer Goodwin, finds the whole proposal to ban Barbie baffling. “Barbie’s very empowering and my inner feminist is really very proud of our Barbie culture,” Goodwin said. “She does have a rather tiny, unrealistic waist but she’s a doll and you know the thing about Barbie that I’ve always found very inspiring is she was fashionable and could have a fella if she wanted and sometimes she did, sometimes she didn’t and any career of her choosing. So if she was affluent it was due to her successes and especially for a doll that premiered in the 1950’s that’s pretty admirable that’s pretty incredible.” And playing with the little plastic person hasn’t hurt VS Angel Heidi Klum either. “I think that’s crazy, Barbie is so much fun. I’m not into plastic surgery and all of these things. I’m like super natural person. I do wear make-up yes and I love high heels and outfits, but I’m a jeans T-shirt normal girl and I used to love playing with Barbies,” Klum said. “But that didn’t change me all of sudden. I didn’t become a plastic person or start acting like a fake person.” So could Mattel getting ready to come out with a mini-me of Heidi Klum? “You guys just have to hold onto your horses a little while longer and then maybe then you’ll know and see,” the Project Runway starlet said with a smile. “But if she could talk she would say ‘you’re out’.” What we also found quite amusing is that reality star Lauren Conrad really had no idea what an L.C. Barbie would do if it was ever made. “Tough question, oh gosh - what would my Barbie do?” she asked her friend Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, who quickly suggested that maybe she should like, design clothes - after all, Conrad does have her own clothing line. But as it turns out, L.C said now that The Hills is over she actually hopes to work behind-the-cameras in production and is already working on her second book. On the note of production, the Jonathon Adler-designed Dream House which hosted Barbie’s coming-of-age bash really did bring to the life her theatrical and mystical existence. The Malibu mansion (which is soon going to be transported to a suite at the Palms Resort & Casino in Sin City) was complete with a cupboard full of 50 pairs of Christian Louboutin hot-pink high heels, a chandelier made of Barbie’s hair, a gigantic Andy Warhol portrait of Barbie, a feather-topped pouf chair and a mirror framed entirely with dolls. There was even a Volkswagen Pink New Beetle convertible in the garage in which the likes of Aubrey O’Day, Heidi Klum and Ginnifer Goodwin were spotted fooling around inside. (source)

Singer BeBe Winans charged with pushing his ex

Grammy-winning gospel singer Benjamin (BeBe) Winans has been charged with misdemeanor domestic assault after a dispute with his ex-wife in Nashville. An arrest warrant filed Wednesday said 46-year-old Winans got into an argument with his ex-wife, Debra, about their children at her home. “He pushed me to the ground in front of my children,” Debra Winans told CNN. The argument happened in the driveway of her Nashville home on the eve of Valentine’s Day, she said. “When you’re married to someone known all over the world, it has serious challenges,” she said. They divorced six years ago after 16 years of marriage. They have two children - a 13-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. Winans, a judge on BET’s television show “Sunday Best,” was released from the Davidson County Jail Thursday after posting $1,000 bond. He said in a statement that “the allegations are inconsistent with my character.” News Wire Services (source)

Sammy Davis Jr.s widow dies at age 65

Altovise Joanne Gore Davis, a dancer and actress and the widow of Sammy Davis Jr., has died. She was 65. Davis died Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering a stroke, said Amy Malone, a publicist for her family. Davis worked her way to the Broadway stage where she met the legendary entertainer when they performed together in the musical “Golden Boy” in 1967. She became his third wife when they wed in 1970 (Davis was previously married to dancer Loray White and Swedish actress Mai Britt). They adopted a son and remained together until Davis died of throat cancer in 1990 at the age of 64. After his death she was left to sort through his multimillion IRS tax debt and oversee his troubled estate. Last year, she sued two former business partners in federal court, claiming they tricked her into signing away the rights to the estate. The suit is pending. Davis is survived by her son Manny. A private memorial service was being planned.

Forget the false reports: Britney Spears is not seeing her longtime agent Jason Trawick, a source close to Spears tells Usmagazine.com. “They are absolutely, 100 percent not dating,” the source tells Us. “He is her agent, and that is it.” E! News reported Wednesday that Spears was secretly stepping out with Trawick, but the insider tells Us, “They have never gone out on a date. “He has been her agent for four years, and they are very close friends,” the source continues. “He gets on with her family, but there is absolutely categorically nothing romantic going on. Jason was on the road with Britney for three of her tour dates, but that is because that’s what agents do — they support their clients,” the source goes on. “Any stories of them being together are completely and utterly made up.” (source)
