I agree with the article..she should have left her politics and religion out..because should have represented everyone in the USA...including gay,straight,white and black.I'm glad she lost.

I think gays should have the same rights as straight...We pay taxes just like staright people.And we have the same laws as staright people.So why can't we have this one thing.So what if your religion doesn't believe in it.You won't be at the wedding.And people talk about influences on the kids.And that they should be with the oposite sex...but what difference does it make if the kid is happy.Just because parents or the public may disapprove of it..the kids shuold hide it or act like they like the same sex??
