Miranda had actually just flown in from a concert on the tour she's out with (Kenny) that she had JUST DONE a matter of HOURS prior to arriving and being on stage at Blake's party. I would imagine that I would be tired, too, and possibly a little distant/out-of-it if I had just done a show, jetted off to another state and arriving at 10... and then being onstage within a few hours again. I was also there at the party, and yes, she did seem a little tired at his party. But, perked up after the first couple.

I also don't see how the original "article" has absolutely anything to do with the above comment about artist interaction and capturing fans??? In response to that comment, it was HIS fan club party. He invited other artists/his friends/idols to his party to sing because he wanted them there. Not really to "capture" his fans' "hearts".

Miranda wasn't ignored by every BS'er. There were plenty of us BS'ers there paying her close attention... as well as Hillary Scott, Keith Anderson, Steve Warner, etc. In addition, there were many Ran Fans in attendance there to support the good ole BS'er himself.
