Meryl Streep Hates Baby-Photo-Selling Business!

Meryl Streep has hit out at celebrity parents who sell pictures of their newborn children for cash. The Oscar winner is appalled whenever she hears about a star bargaining for media cash over baby photos - even if the cash is for charity. The mother-of-four insists children’s privacy is too valuable to sell snapshots to the highest bidder. Streep says, “One thing I learned very early on is when you’re famous, you lose your right to privacy. And, if you promote your children, if you have them photographed, then they lose their rights. But, if you do not have them photographed and (do not) sell them to OK! magazine, they have the right to… privacy and citizenship. They (paparazzi) can follow me, take a picture, whatever they want to do. My kids, no.” In recent months, Hollywood mums Jessica Alba, Jamie-Lynn Spears and Jennifer Lopez have released exclusive photos of their newborns in financial agreements with celebrity magazines. It is reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are currently negotiating a $15 million deal for the exclusive photos of their newborn twins.

The Dark Knight Sets Box Office Record!

We have a new box office record people! The Dark Knight has raked in $155.34 million in its first weekend, the best weekend box office opening EVER! The record was previously set by 2007's Spider-Man 3, with $151.1 million. The Dark Knight, which stars late actor Heath Ledger as The Joker, earned an estimated $66.4 million on its opening day. It took in $18.5 million in Friday midnight shows alone. The last Batman installment, 2006's Batman Begins, grossed $15 million on its opening day and $48.7 million for the weekend. I guess most of the credit for enormous success of this film goes to Heath Ledger. His performance has been praised so immensely that people just want to see what is really going on with him in this film. It goes without saying that ladies are also going to catch this film for the eye candy named Christian Bale. I haven't watched this film - yet - but I am going tomorrow and can I say I'm totally psyched! Can't wait!

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have ended their relationship after five years of dating. “Jimmy and Sarah have and will have no further comment,” Kimmel’s rep Lewis Kay and Silverman’s rep Amy Zvi confirmed to PEOPLE in a joint statement. PEOPLE named the late-night talk-show host and the star of Comedy Central’s The Sarah Silverman Program its Funniest Couple Alive earlier this year.

Khloe Kardashian Gets 3 Days In The Poky!

Khloe Kardashian, the youngest of the Kardashian sisters, has been sentenced to three days in Los Angeles County jail for violating probation following a DUI arrest. “She admitted to failing to complete [roadside cleanup duty] and enroll in an alcohol education class,” said L.A. City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan on Monday. Kardashian, 24, has until July 18 to begin serving her sentence. She was sentenced on July 3. “Khloe is ready and willing to serve out her sentence, no matter how long and where, and have this resolved,” her rep tells PEOPLE. Kardashian, who appeared in E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, was arrested for DUI in March 2007, and was sentenced to three years probation. Over the weekend, Kardashian showed no obvious signs of worry about her upcoming jail term, as she attended a party at the Project Beach House in Malibu with her mother and sister Kourtney. “Khloe actually looked great, really relaxed and having a good time,” says a partygoer at Sunday’s Lia Sophia Clambake. “[She] didn’t look like she had a care in the world and even got a massage.”

Will Smith Reveals He & Jada Are In An Open Marriage!

Hollywood's man-of-the-moment Will Smith has revealed the secret to the success of his 11 year marriage to Jada Pinkett-Smith: open marriage. Speaking to Reveal magazine, Will revealed that the couple have been in an open marriage since day 1 and apparently, it has always been great this way for them! “Our perspective is, you don’t avoid what’s natural and you’re going to be attracted to people.” he says. “And if it came down to it, then one would say to the other: ‘Look, I need to have sex with somebody. Now, I’m not going to if you don’t approve of it’.” The 39-year-old star explains that the couple’s open policy has been in place from day one of their 10-year marriage. “In our marriage vows, we didn’t say ‘forsaking all others’. We said ‘you will never hear I did something afterwards’. Because if that happens the relationship is destroyed.” Other things that Will says are important in his relationship are keeping in shape for his “little firecracker” Jada, the “look in her eyes”, and communication. “And lots of sex makes for a good marriage too!” I really don't know if I should feel bad for Jada, because I definitely know that Will is the one who is sleeping with other women more, or should I feel happy that maybe, one day, I might have a shot with Will Smith *sigh*!

Paris Hilton Is Not Moving To Glendale!

Paris Hilton is very upset at all of the recent rumors about her moving into the neighborhood of Nicole Richie and the Madden bros. Paris says this is “SO NOT TRUE!” As usual, she’s taken to her myspace to clear up the rumors: “Hey guys, hope you all had a great weekend. Once again, I am blown away by more lies that are going around, and wanted to clear them up with all of you. I’m sick of Page Six and other gossip sites printing completely false stories. It’s not fair because these lies then spread like wildfire online and people begin to believe they are true, just because they read the same story on so many different sites. I am tired of not commenting on the rumors I hear and I think it’s fair for you to know the truth. From now on I plan to address these when they come to my attention. I still do not know why these stories get so much circulation–they cross the line between silly tabloid gossip into hateful speculating. They involve completely false rumors about not only what I allegedly do, but about the people in my personal life and family. Page Six reported that I have moved into Benji’s neighborhood, and that Nicole is upset by this…SO NOT TRUE! First of all, I don’t even live in Glendale. Secondly, I have my own home in a gated community in Beverly Hills–that’s where I live. I haven’t been to Glendale in months. Where do they come up with this? As most of you know, I moved away from my old–and very accessible–house because I was sick and tired of constant invasion of my private life. I love my fans but I could not leave for a meeting or walk my dog without a camera pushing inside my front door on to personal property. I feel so much happier and safer in my new home. I’ve been renovating it for the past year and totally made it my style. I’ve seen pictures online that are supposedly the inside of my new home, but they’re not. Those pictures were taken off a private real estate site from the previous owners’ interior. The house looks so much different and it underwent such a big transformation into my dream home. I couldn’t be happier! :) So anyway, back to what I was saying: I am thankful that I know who my true friends and colleagues are, and I encourage my fans to ignore worthless stories like this. There is too much going on in the world, and in your own lives, to waste time reading lies. Such a disappointment but as always, you’ll get the true story from me! FINALLY! Angelina Jolie Has Given Birth To Twins!

Angelina Jolie gave birth to a son and daughter Saturday at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France, PEOPLE has confirmed. "The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly," Dr. Michael Sussmann told PEOPLE Sunday. "Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well. The mother and father are very, very happy." Sussmann confirmed the Nice Matin newspaper report that Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs. The twins are the fifth and sixth children for Jolie, 33, and partner Brad Pitt, 44, who are already parents to Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2. Congratulations to the big, happy family! And hear this, the bidding for Knox and Vivienne's pictures is at $15+ million. Let's see who scoops this up! The Jolie-Pitts are sure a happy/rich little bunch now, aren't they?!

New parents to Sunday Rose Kidman Urban - Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have snapped up a new home for their new, expanded family. The pair — who welcomed their girl on Monday in Nashville — have purchased a gated, five-bedroom, five-bathroom contemporary-style home in Beverly Hills, a source close to the deal tells Usmagazine. The house was selling for $4.7 million. "It’s very modern with treetop and canyon views, and it has complete privacy,” the insider tells Us of the digs, which is four houses away from birthday girl Jessica Simpson's home. The house, which offers 4,100 square feet and features a pool and grassy backyard, also has an existing baby nursery that was done for a little boy, but “it can be easily changed for their little girl,” the source adds. “It is a very light home with floor-to-ceiling windows and lots of glass.” Adds the source, “They've been looking for more than a year and finally decided this house was the one.” Wow! The actress is said to be keen to keep his memory alive for the sake of their two-year-old daughter Matilda. A source tells the Australian Daily Telegraph, “It makes Michelle’s heart ache that Matilda was so young when Heath died and she’s unlikely to retain any memories of her father. She (Williams) wants to keep his spirit alive with something Matilda can treasure all her life.” The proposed film will feature friends and colleagues sharing their memories of the Brokeback Mountain star. Ledger died in January in his New York apartment from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

Angelina Jolie will deliver her twins on Tuesday, according to French reports. Sources at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, where the actress will give birth, have revealed Jolie will be induced on Tuesday. Medics were initially planning the delivery on Monday, but that falls on France’s Bastille Day holiday. Sources reveal that Jolie is keen to give birth. One insider says, “She can’t wait to give birth because she can’t stand the hospital food, and she is fed up to be in this hospital room. If she could be induced earlier she would love it, but the medical team think it’s medically better to wait until next Tuesday.” Poor woman! I wish her all the best!

Sacha Baron Cohen & Isla Fisher's Wedding Put On Hold!

Comic actor Sacha Baron Cohen may not have much to laugh about these days. The “Borat” star, 36, has stalled his marriage to Australian actress Isla Fisher due to religious issues, according to Britain’s Daily Mail. Cohen has been waiting for his fiance Fisher, 32, to convert to Judaism, a process which is taking longer than expected. After the birth of their daughter Olive last year, Fisher was supposed to have devoted time to studying the Torah and being a mom. But things have reportedly gone much slower than planned, in part, due to Fisher’s career. Cohen’s mother is allegedly at odds with the Aussie beauty since she quickly returned to work after Olive’s birth and spent most of the summer filming “Confessions of a Shopaholic.” A source close to the family described their relationship as tense. On the other hand, the “Ali G” actor has avoided trouble at home by focusing his energy on his new reality-based movie, “Bruno.” The same source reported that Baron Cohen is not worried about the strained relationship between his bride-to-be and mother and is “happy taking his time to get married the same way he was happy having a long engagement.” Despite the current trials, sources say Fisher is devoted to sticking things out with Cohen and his mother for the long run. Fisher’s publicist would not say whether the couple has set a date.

The Forgotten star, 47, is not a fan of the face-freezing cosmetic treatment. She says, “I don’t know why women do Botox. It doesn’t make them look younger, it just makes them look like they had work done. “You are not going to look the same as you did at 25. What are you going to do about it?” However, Moore admits she understands the pressures of fame, adding: “It’s hard for actresses. Our faces get to be blown up 50 feet wide, and you see stuff that otherwise you wouldn’t. People freak out.” I agree with that! I don't know how my face would look if it was on a big-a** billboard on the streets! It must be crazy for these women!

Robert Downey Jr. is reportedly close to signing a deal to play Sherlock Holmes in Guy Ritchie’s forthcoming movie about the fictional detective. The Iron Man star was drawn to the iconic role after he was shown the British filmmaker’s vision of the new Holmes by Warner Bros bosses. Downey Jr. was initially introduced to the project by his wife Susan Downey, who is working on it as a producer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The reformed hellraiser will go head to head with comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who is also set to play the classic Sir Arthur Conan Doyle crimebuster on the big screen. Warner Bros studio executives reportedly plan to have the Ritchie film in cinemas by 2010.

They claim that the 31 year old actor recently confessed to a friend that even though Hayden is only 18 years old, he wants to get engaged this year. Maybe he realized that Hayden is young and might go astray from the relationship. “Milo was looking at rings in late June,” the pal says. “He really likes Cartier and intends to spend around $200,000.” “Halo”, I guess that is the official name for them now, met on the set of Heroes and reportedly began dating in January.
