Extra is reporting that former VP Dan Quayle has made the short list for this season's Dancing with the Star. If that is who ABC is getting, I might be skipping this season. Lance Bass, Kim Kardashian, Dan Quayle…how much worse can it get? Don't answer because I don't want to know.

CBS is walking The Streets of San Francisco again

CBS is bringing back The Streets of San Francisco to the small screen according to The Hollywood Reporter. The remake will keep key elements from the original Quinn Martin production: the title, the names of the two main characters and, of course, the backdrop of the City by the Bay. But the main focus is to bring the spirit of the original “Streets” into the new reincarnation. “The times are very similar — it was the Vietnam War in the 1970s and the Iraq War now,” said Robert Port, who will write the pilot script with Sheldon Turner. “There is the same sort of tension between generations, and we wanted to carry that to the new series.” Out of all the shows to dig up from the archives, I don’t know why this is the one they are bringing back. I remember watching it in syndication and wondering what the big deal about the show was. Wouldn’t have CBS been better doing CSI: San Francisco instead? CBS can afford to have another CSI, it is not like 3 is enough. I wonder what will be the next ’70s/’80s failure, I mean show that the networks will bring back. Let’s see there was Kolchak (I am still bitter about that one), Bionic Woman, Dragnet and Knight Rider to name a few.

See the end of The Two Coreys this Sunday

Looks like we see what was the final nail in Corey Feldman’s coffin for Corey Haim on this Sunday’s The Two Coreys on A&E at 10p. It has been obvious this season how much he tried to save Corey Haim, but there was only so much he could do. It so sad to see them part, but from watching the show Corey Feldman is better off. One of the other nails in his coffin was what went on during the filming of Lost Boys The Tribe (which is out on DVD today) and now you get to see where Corey Haim’s cameo went…after the credits. ICYMI here is some of what went down on the set that day.

Amy Winehouse was rushed to the hospital again today according to The Sun. Amy’s spokesman said: “It looks like a reaction to treatment on her anti-drug programme and new things she’s been trying as part of that.” A hospital spokesman said Amy would stay in overnight and doctors would then decide whether to discharge her. So her antics over the weekend were because of of a bad reaction to meds that were suppose to get her off of drugs? Instead of being on drugs to combat drugs they should just order her into rehab before it is too late.

John Stamos has already been announced as the Roast Master, but today we found out who will be there alongside Danny Tanner and Jesse Katsopolis. Susie Essman, Greg Giraldo, Gilbert Gottfried, Artie Lange, Jon Lovitz, Norm Macdonald, Tracy Morgan, Jim Norton and Jeffrey Ross will all be on the stage letting the Full House dad know how they really feel about him. While Scott Bakula, Greg Behrendt , Alonzo Bodden, Andrew Dice Clay, Chris Fairbanks, Jennifer Finnigan, Rex Lee, Lori Loughlin, Kathleen Madigan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Brian Posehn, Paul Provenza, Jonathan Silverman and the only child from Full House as of now Jodi Sweetin will all be in the audience lending their support and laughing at, I mean with him. I can't wait to see how it all turns out when it airs on Comedy Central on August 17th! If it is anything like the ones for Flavor Flav, William Shatner and Pamela Anderson is it going to be hysterical and we will all be talking about it the next day! BTW where are all the How I Met Your Mother people?

(photo from People) Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell are expecting twins according to Us Weekly! The couple who just celebrated their one year anniversary will welcome the little ones this winter. So I guess that this explains why Rebecca Romijn wanted off of Ugly Betty, it is not like her character could pregnant. As we recently learned a former woman can get pregnant, but no way would it be possible for a former man to conceive. Side note, I don't know why she didn't have kids with John Stamos, could you imagine how beautiful those babies would've been!

Rachael Ray goes to the dogs!

Rachael Ray has gotten into the dog food business with proceeds going to her dog charity Rachael's Rescue according to AP. "It seemed like not a lot of extra time to donate to something that could potentially raise millions of dollars for championing these little creatures that can't speak for themselves," Ray said. A line for cats also is planned. I was going to say at least Rachael Ray is finally feeding her own kind, but since she is doing something good with the proceeds I won't go there.
