in my opinion this is one of the best performances estelle getty gives as sophia on the show. when sophia's son phil dies of a heart attack, she wants to blame phils wife, angela, for phils frequent crossdressing, but soon she looks inside herself and has to come to terms with her own guilt and embarrassment she felt towards her son.
