Slumdog Millionaire - Closing Night Gala

The final night of The times BFI 52nd London Film Festival and superstar director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later) had his latest movie featuring as the closing night entertainment. Its the story of a slum kid in India who makes it to the last question on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. Whats the back story and does he make it? Have to see the movie for those but I can tell you that Danny did sign the fan line and John Hurt was there too. Brit director Neil Marshall (Doomsday, The Descent) was there with wife Axlle and did signed and posed. Not so many of the regulars vying for space today so there were people from all over the globe reflecting this international offering. It rained of course before the start but not having to queue all day was some compensation.
