  • the edit version is now saying: 'all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to seek amy' which kinda makes sense putting it together but then the original catchiness (and controversy) of the song is lost for me without 'IF' I can't help singing the 'IF' part still even though i try and sing it without lol

I do however agree with the majority of people when it comes to the spelling out of the word F****, lots of songs do swear/sound like they are swearing and they haven't been edited. She doesn't actually say the word either only spells it (in a roundabout kinda way) which makes it even more rediculous.
Before I heard tha was spelling out the word i didn't even notice. I didn't think it made sense but I didn't automatically think it was rude. or trying to sound rude.
Lots of songs don't make sense but you still like them regardless.

All i have to say is that in this day and age with all that goes on, i find it pathetic that we as a nation are still offended by such trivial things and go to special lengths to censor the smallest of things, especially when it isn't THAT obvious.

    • no, its not hear me its hate me listen to it clearly. This is the problem, people don't know how to listen. When Britney Spears says "Love me, hate me." Shes not saying "love me, hear me" LOL.
