Hello. I'm Kristin Volk in for Rebecca Field on this Friday April 20, 2007 with a UPI Entertainment Headline. The custody battle between Actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger is getting uglier. TMZ.com posted an angry phone message from Baldwin to his 11 year old daughter on the Internet. In the voicemail he's yelling at her for missing his call, saying she's a "rude, thoughtless, little pig." There's no indication of how TMZ.com obtained the message. The couple divorced in 2001 but they've been in a bitter custody feud for years now. Actor Jude Law reportedly has a new romance in his life. A British newspaper says Law is dating Kim Herzov. She's an American editor for Britain's Harpers Bazaar magazine in London. The actor and his new girlfriend were spotted vacationing in India and have been seen enjoying romantic dinners together in the past. Both Herzov and Law have been married before and both have children. TV Guide Channel is replacing the mother-daughter duo Melissa and Joan Rivers on the red carpet. Actress and former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Lisa Rinna will attempt to fill their shoes. The network says Rinna will start in her new post at the Emmy Awards in September. TV Guide apparently decided not to renew the Rivers' contracts in what the company says is an effort to go in a new direction. Talk show host Rosie O'Donnell is trying to avoid protesters on her planned cruise for gay and lesbian families. She cancelled the cruise's stop in Bermuda in anticipation of an un-friendly welcome by religious conservative groups there. O'Donnell and partner Kelli Carpenter are organizing the trip, which is scheduled to leave New York in July. Organizers at this year's Cannes (CAN) film festival expect it to be a star-studded event. People magazine reports Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will present their film "A Mighty Heart" at the annual festival next month. Pitt's company produced the drama and Jolie stars in it. Other celebs like Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman and Bono are expected to attend. Director's Michael Moore and Quentin Tarantino will also be there...both presenting highly anticipated films. Thanks for watching and check out our weekly wrap-up from the White House on upi.com today.
